Chocolate Bundt Cake

Now, originally this is a recipe from Dorie Greenspan from her book "Baking From My Home to Yours" I took it from another blog called alpineberry but I made some alterations of my own so as to become more likable to my taste. This cake is very easy and has the taste of a souffle. It is for those who really love chocolate. You can accompany it with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. Let's make it then.

Chocolate Bundt Cake

Ingredients

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/2 cup self-rising flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

115 gr. unsalted butter, softened at room temperature

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

1/2 cup whole milk

200 gr. milk chocolate (I used dark chocolate 70% cocoa) melted and cooled

Instructions

Preheat oven to 175C. Butter a bundt pan. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy for about 3 minutes. Add the egg and continue beating for a minute and then add the vanilla extract and and beat again for a minute or two. On low speed add half of the flour mixture and beat until incorporated. Then, add the milk and mix until just blended. Add the remaining flour and mix again only until it is incorporated. Blend in the melted chocolate. Throw the batter to the bundt pan and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes.

Cool it for 10 to 15 minutes and then dust some caster sugar. Good luck.
